The Open Call for authors for the 17th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest is now open! The 17th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest is on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at Xchange Event & Creative Space, 3334 N. Holton St, Milwaukee, WI.
There will be 10 to 12 authors selling their own books. The first hour will be dedicated to author introductions. Each author will get five minutes to either read an excerpt of their book or to tell attendees more about themselves or their books. This will be followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A session with the attendees. Please be advised that this is a local three hour book event (not a conference), so please think about overall costs when deciding to participate in this event. (i.e. airfare, hotel, food, etc)
The participation fee for an author table is $150 (plus Paypal fees). No split tables are allowed. You will have your own table to decorate any way that you would like. You can also have one additional person to sit with you at your table. You will be included in all of our online marketing materials, postcards, posters, and any other media that we will have throughout our city. You must have an ACTIVE social media presence. It can be your own website or any social media platform where readers can connect with you and be able to purchase your books. Interested?
