The 18th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest is on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm at the Xchange Event & Creative Space 3334 N Holton ST, Milwaukee, WI. There is a $10 admission for attendees. Each attendee can get up to three free books when they buy books from the participating authors at the event.
There will be 10 to 12 authors selling their own books. The featured authors books will be sold by Da Book Joint. The first hour will be dedicated to author introductions. Each author will get five minutes to either read an excerpt of their book or to tell attendees more about themselves or their books. This will be followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A session with the attendees.
Please be advised that this is a local three hour book event (not a conference),
so please think about overall costs when deciding to participate in this event.
The participation fee for an author table is $150. No split tables are allowed. You will have your own table to decorate any way that you would like. You can also have one additional person to sit with you at your table. You will be included in all of our online marketing materials, postcards, posters, and any other media that we will have throughout our city. You must have an ACTIVE social media presence. It can be your own website or any social media platform where readers can connect with you and be able to purchase your books.
What is an Open Call?
The Open Call for authors for the 18th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest will be on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 10 am (CST). An Open Call is when the registration is open for author tables for the 18th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest. An email will be sent to all authors that are on the Open Call list first before being posted on social media!
